American healthcare is a $4.9 trillion industry that reports on itself mostly through press releases. Hospital systems merge and the news is a photograph of two CEOs shaking hands. A vendor claims an AI tool is FDA-cleared and nobody checks which indication. A health system posts an operating loss and the analysis arrives three quarters later, if at all.

xhealthnetwork exists to do the checking.

We read the filings, the 990s, the CMS data, the FDA databases and the earnings calls, and we write what they actually say. We rank what can be ranked and publish the methodology so you can argue with it. We maintain directories of the vendors, the AI tools and the jobs, because the people who run healthcare organisations spend a lot of time trying to find out who does what.

Who publishes this

xhealthnetwork is published by Caresoft Systems Private Limited, a healthcare technology company founded in Mumbai. Caresoft has built hospital software for more than twenty years — it runs in over a thousand hospitals across India and in twelve countries — and it started in a 500 square foot office with two people.

Our team works from India and reports on the US market.

We think that is a feature. We hold no board seats at American health systems. We are not on anyone’s advisory panel. We do not need to stay welcome on a conference circuit, and no US vendor is paying our salaries. We cover this industry from outside it, which is a harder way to get sources and a much easier way to stay honest.

What we will not do

• Sell coverage. Advertisers do not see articles before publication, cannot approve them, and cannot buy a mention or a ranking position.
• Sell a ranking. No position has ever been purchased and none will be. Our commercial team does not see results before publication.
• Publish AI-written articles. Every piece is reported, written and edited by a person who is accountable for it.
• Hide a mistake. When we get something wrong we correct it, say what was wrong, and leave the note in place.
