xhealthnetwork readers run hospitals, health systems and the companies that sell to them. They are not browsing.
Healthcare marketing has a credibility problem, and most of it is self-inflicted. Buyers in this industry have been promised transformation so often that the word has stopped meaning anything.
What works here is being useful and being specific. That is what we try to do editorially, and it is what we ask of the advertising we carry.
Who reads xhealthnetwork
- Health system executives — CEO, CFO, COO, strategy
- CIOs, CMIOs and digital health leaders
- Payer and plan leadership
- Investors and advisers covering healthcare services and technology
- Founders and commercial leaders at healthcare vendors
Current audience figures are in the media kit, updated monthly. We publish real numbers and we do not round up.
What you can buy
| Format | What it is |
|---|---|
| Newsletter sponsorship | A placement in The Daily Grid, read in the morning by people at their desks. Our highest-engagement format |
| Display | On article and section pages. Marked as advertising, visually distinct from editorial |
| Sponsored content | Your article, labeled Sponsored, with your name on it. Written by you or by our commercial team — never by the newsroom |
| Report sponsorship | Fund independent research, get your name on the cover. See sponsor a report |
| Enhanced listing | Richer presence in the marketplace or AI tools directory, marked Promoted |
| Job postings | In front of healthcare operators actively reading about the industry |
| Events | Listings and webinars we host with you, presented clearly as yours |
What you cannot buy
Editorial coverage. Not a mention, not a quote, not a story, not a softer tone. Our newsroom decides what we cover and advertisers do not see it before publication.
A ranking position. Ever. Advertising status is not a variable in any methodology, and the commercial team does not see results before they publish.
Removal of a story. If we cover you critically, that is normal. If you ask us to kill it, we will refund your campaign rather than agree — and we may report that the request was made.
That is not posturing. It is the only reason our readers believe anything on the site, which is the only reason your advertising is worth buying here.
How we label it
Every paid placement is labeled before the content, in plain words — Sponsored, Advertisement, Promoted. Not “Partner”, not “Spotlight”, not “Featured Insights”. The label stays with the item into search results and the newsletter.
This follows the FTC’s guidance on native advertising. The full position is in our advertising disclosure.
What we will not run
- Unsubstantiated claims, including any certification or FDA status you do not hold
- Clinical efficacy claims the cited evidence does not support
- Creative designed to be mistaken for editorial
- Promotion of unapproved uses of drugs or devices
- Disparagement of a named competitor without substantiation
We will ask for evidence where a claim is material. That is a feature for you too — an ad on a publication that checks is worth more than one on a publication that does not.
